Relax: we have developed that solution. Our strategic partner, Radiation Protection Technologies, molds tungsten-filled polymers – a safe substance that blocks radiation at the same rates as lead. Our lead replacement product has been used in CT scanners for several years.
We’re also thoroughly conversant with other sustainable and species-friendly practices in the medical and healthcare sectors. We use tallow-free lubricants and bovine-free polypropylene for the medical and pharmaceutical markets.
