This position is responsible to transport finished goods and materials between the warehouse and main building locations. In addition, this position is to use forklift to transport items to appropriate departments or designated areas at both warehouses. This position also performs bagging, assembly and production tasks as needed. This individual is expected to perform job responsibilities according to the company’s core values.

Position Overview

This position is responsible to transport finished goods and materials between the warehouse and main building locations. In addition, this position is to use forklift to transport items to appropriate departments or designated areas at both warehouses. This position also performs bagging, assembly and production tasks as needed. This individual is expected to perform job responsibilities according to the company’s core values.

Essential Job Functions

  • Follows ISO and standard operating procedures for shipping, receiving and inventory processes.
  • Uses forklift to transport items to appropriate departments or designated areas within the warehouse and main building locations.
  • Pulls and verifies outgoing shipments for accuracy including; customer requirements, paperwork, labels, quantities and appearance.
  • Load/unload trucks as needed.
  • Performs truck driving (box truck) responsibilities to transport finished goods and materials between the warehouse and main building locations. 
  • Uses IQMS system for shipping, inventory identification, and receiving tasks including; scanners, pick tickets, BOL’s, packing slips, etc.
  • Supports Operations during emergency and/or weekend shipments—outside normal working hours.
  • Performs physical inventory counts as needed / requested.
  • Performs bagging, assembly and production tasks as needed.
  • Perform other responsibilities as needed to support the success of the organization

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities                

  • Oral and written communication
  • Function in fast paced and/or emergency situations

Education, Training and/or Experience                   

  • High school diploma or GED certificate, AND
  • One to three years related experience and/or training; OR
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

 Language Skills                   

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

Mathematical Skills                  

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers,

Common fractions and decimals.

  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, percent, draw and interpret bar graphs

Reasoning Ability                   

  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral

or schedule form

  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations

Computer Skills                   

  • Ability to work with Inventory Database (IQMS)
  • Email and internet

Certificates; Licenses; Registrations                   

  • Clean and valid driver’s license
  • Tow motor license
