Position Overview:
This position is responsible to complete daily shipments according to the defined customer requirements / procedures, as well as daily incoming receiving to the defined process and procedures at both the main building and the Thogus warehouse location. In addition, this position is to maintain spot checks for inventory including locations, space and accuracy at both warehouses. This position also performs bagging, assembly and production tasks as needed.

Position Overview
The Inspection Operator inspects and handles finished goods (plastic parts from an injection molding press or at an offline secondary assembly) and prepares them to be shipped to the customer. This individual is expected to perform job responsibilities according to the company’s core values.
Essential Job Functions
- Follows ISO and standard operating procedures for shipping, receiving and inventory processes.
- Verifies incoming shipment, inclusive of counts, weights, and high level quality inspection, against Bill of Ladings, Invoices, Orders, other records and/or IQMS system.
- Documents & communicates incoming shipment information inclusive of shortages, damages and other discrepancies with Purchasing to rectify vendor discrepancies.
- Routes received items to appropriate departments or designated areas
- Pulls and verifies outgoing shipments for accuracy including; customer requirements, paperwork, labels, quantities and appearance
- Load/unload trucks using a forklift
- Uses the box truck to transport material and products between the main building and warehouse
- Coordinates the logistics for customer and vendor pickups via phone / web sites
- Uses IQMS system for shipping, inventory identification, and receiving tasks including; scanners, pick tickets, BOL’s, packing slips, etc.
- Facilitates customer communication; shipments and/or customer supplied materials
- Supports Operations during emergency and/or weekend shipments—outside normal working hours.
- Maintains inventory of shipping supplies
- Performs physical inventory counts as needed / requested
- Perform other responsibilities as needed to support the success of the organization

Education, Training and/or Experience
- High school diploma or GED certificate, AND
- One to three years related experience and /or training; OR
- Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

Mathematical Skills
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers,
Common fractions and decimals.

or schedule form

Computer Skills
- Ability to work with Inventory Database (IQMS)
- Basic computer skills including Excel, Word, Office, Emails, and web site maneuvering for shipping / receiving tasks.
